After receiving several complaints from Ardee city about lack of power sub-station in the colony, which has led to irregular and poor quality of power supply, the department of town and country planning has asked the developer to finalise the site for building the station at the earliest. Apart from that, instructions have also been issued regarding the use of a designated religious site, which has already been approved but is not being used as such despite repeated requests by the homebuyers.

The developer, however, said that it has duly applied for setting up a sub-station and also deposited a bank guarantee of ₹8 crore with Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN). (Sanjeev Verma/HT PHOTO)

DTCP official said that there are issues pertaining to conveyance deeds, which have been withheld by the developers to several reasons.

“The developer has told us that the majority of buyers had maintenance fee dues and several had made unauthorised constructions that were creating a problem. We have asked them to list the details within a month with regard to every buyer so that the issues could be resolved,” RS Bhath, district town planner, said.

To ensure that the matters raised by homebuyers are addressed, this issue has also been listed in the next AGRF meeting that is likely to be held next week.

“All the issues of buyers, pertaining to religious site or EWS which has to be constructed at the Ardee Residency apartment, have been taken up with the developer. We want to reassure that concerns of not only pre-possession buyers but also the post-possession ones will be given equal importance,” he said.

The developer, however, said that it has duly applied for setting up a sub-station and also deposited a bank guarantee of 8 crore with Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN). “The land has been inspected by the officials of DHBVN. The documents and plan has been submitted, but the work can start only when permission is granted. It has been almost 8 months since the application was made, but action is awaited,” said Anil Haseeja, vice president of the company.
