Yes, this was the first election I ever contested. The day MCG wards were decided and demarcated by the government, I made up my mind to contest the polls. I have always been a social activist and know a lot about my ward.

But people are not satisfied in your ward. They say you have not delivered what you had promised.
This is not correct. I do not think people are not happy with me as I have been meeting people every week. I am visited by hundreds of people daily. They expect help from me and I think that is why they approach me.

People fear the NPR project will displace many people in your ward. They complain you have never raised the issue in high-level meetings.
This is also not true. I have been consistently fighting for the people’s cause. I even met Huda administrator twice and requested him to inspect the area..

Are there any projects in your ward which come under MCG?
Several projects regarding roads, drains and electricity are already under way. Some have been successfully completed in the last one year.
