A private bank’s security guard was allegedly assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by three motorcycle-borne men near Star Mall in Sector 30, just a few metres from the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway on Saturday night.

According to the police, 25-year-old Sunil Kumar, who works as a security guard at a private bank in DLF Phase-2, was returning to his room in Rajiv Colony in a cab after his duty around 10.30 pm.
“I de-boarded the cab near Signature Tower flyover and started walking to my room. As I was walking, three men on a motorcycle waylaid me. Two of them got down and pointed a gun at my stomach. They snatched my mobile phone, memory card, wallet and ₹13,000 in cash and fled,” Kumar said in his first information report (FIR) registered at the Sector 40 police station.
