Drains on Delhi-Gurugram expressway to be fixed, rebuilt

Due to the lack of a proper drainage system, the stretch between Narsinghpur and Khandsa would be inundated even after short spells of rain. As a result, the service lane and three lanes of the four-lane carriageway on the e-way carrying traffic towards Jaipur would be cut-off for commuters.

Day before cashless switch, confusion prevails at Gurugram tolls

Toll plaza employees, standing in the heat for hours on end, tried to calm drivers and patiently answered their queries. Drivers said that if they do not want to buy the monthly pass on the MCD toll application, they need to send an email to the website provided by the MCD and get a recharge for their RFID tag.

Truck breakdown causes 7.5km-long traffic jam on Delhi-Gurugram expressway

As per Millennium City Expressway Private Limited (MCEPL) officials, the concessionaire for the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway, the truck broke down near an Indian Oil fuel station around 4.45 pm.

The GMDA supplies water from the Sector 16 boosting station (located near Signature Tower on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway) to DLF 1-5, Sushant Lok 1, South City 1, Suncity Sector 54, sectors 1 to 23, Civil Lines and other areas on daily basis.
We roughly supply 140 to 150 MLD water to Sector 16 boosting station daily and this supply has been suspended only for 24 to 30 hours for repair work.(HT image)

Couple on the way to airport robbed of cash, valuables by trio on Gurugram expressway

One of the tyres got punctured, and the driver got down to change it. After a few minutes, the driver asked the couple to come out of the car. Suddenly, three motorcycle-borne came speeding from the wrong side of the flyover and asked them to hand over all their cash and valuables, said the police.

‘Badshahpur drain expansion work complete’: Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran

The expansion, officials said, would ensure that the stormwater drain would be able to carry the water downstream during the upcoming monsoon season. Officials of Haryana Vision Zero, a team of road safety experts selected by the Haryana government, said that a lack of pedestrian amenities at key crossings are the main reasons for such a high number of pedestrian fatalities.

NHAI wants to stop heavy vehicles on damaged flyover

On May 8, chunks of concrete fell from the main carriageway of flyover, leaving a 70-sq-inch hole in the main carriage way of the road.
