They were produced in a local court and sent to jail. The youths are between 20 and 25 years and are in India on a medical visa.

The police officials said Mahmood and Farhan were arrested when they were abusing and fighting with each other in a drunken state.

The duo was coming out of the mall when they entered into an argument over some issue.

Following a heated exchange of words, both exchanged fisticuffs. They also allegedly misbehaved with other visitors in the food court.

“The medical examination of the foreign nationals confirmed they were drunk. The duo was booked for committing breach of peace or disturbing public tranquillity,” a police official said.

Earlier on April 3, the police had arrested three Libyans and two Afghani nationals for creating ruckus at Sahara Mall.
