Stressful lifestyle, pollution and late or sleepless nights can really bog you down. And it shows in your eyes.
Since eyes are the ‘mirrors of your soul', you need to put in that extra effort to keep them bright and shiny. Yes, it's possible if you take these tips:
This is one of the most common complaints. Dark circles appear for various reasons.. the most common one is lack of sleep. Of course, these disappear once you catch up on it.
Other reasons are irritants such as cigarette smoke, dust and some eye products. If dark circles are permanent, your best bet may be camouflage. <b1>
Your usual concealer isn't ideal for under the eye because it's heavy, and may be the wrong colour.
Look for words such as ‘lightweight' and ‘light-reflective' on the packaging.
Well, when you get up in the morning your eyes are usually red. But if this redness stays on for the rest of the day, then there is cause for worry.
The redness may be because of faulty eye cosmetic. Here's how you can find out. Try going without make-up for a few days. If the redness goes away then it means it is because of the makeup you use.
Then start using one product at a time to find out which one is the irritant. Hair products and nail varnish can also be the culprits.
If you are in the habit of using eyedrops for redness of eyes, perhaps you should consider a different brand.
Before you apply make-up make sure you wash your hands. Use disposable eyeshadow applicators, cotton wool swabs or washable sponge applicators. If they're washable, be sure to wash them regularly.
The bad news is that crow's feet can't be easily treated at home. But the good news is that for those who are just getting it, you can try some over-the-counter eye creams that are designed to reduce puffiness and fine lines.
Of course, the cream company will claim that the lines can be completely removed, but we all know what the truth is.
But eye cream will surely help.. if used regularly. Since the outer eye area of the eyes are usually dry, creams and gels give the much-needed moisture.
Bags under the eyes
Aah, now these are unlikely to disappear permanently.. unless of course, you undergo surgery. So let's move on to those that can be repaired on your own.
