Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt’s kids look all grown up at her film premiere. See pics
Director and star Angelina Jolie brought all six of her kids - Pax, 13, and Maddox, 16, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - to the premiere of her Netflix film, First They Killed My Father.
Angelina Jolie and her kids have been making frequent public appearances at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival, and on Monday everyone came out to attend the premiere of Jolie’s new film as director, First They Killed My Father.
All the six kids came out all decked up at the Princess of Wales Theatre for the red carpet premiere of the Netflix movie, set during a turbulent time in Cambodia’s history.
“Wearing a one-shoulder black Ralph & Russo dress, the proud mom was all smiles on the red carpet as she put her arms around her two sons Pax, 13, and Maddox, 16, who both worked behind-the-scenes on the movie. The trio was also accompanied by Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne,” reported People.
Jolie waved at the large crowd, interacted with fans, posed for photographs and selfies, and signed autographs.
The family was previously seen together at the recently concluded Telluride Film Festival. They were seen at TIFF on Sunday, for the premiere of The Breadwinner, an animated film produced by Jolie.
First They Killed My Father, which is scheduled to be released on Netflix on September 15, was involved in a recent controversy. Vanity Fair reported that Jolie cast the film by taunting child actors with money, an allegation she refuted. The film is based on human rights activist Luong Ung’s memoir, in which she recounted tales of her youth growing up under an oppressive Khmer Rouge regime. Jolie wanted to make the movie because of the connection she shares with Cambodia - her son Maddox was born there.
