Daniel Craig’s co-star Dame Judi Dench feels that the actor’s appeal in his portrayal of James Bond lies in the fact that he looks “like he could kill a man”.

Daniel Craig’s co-star Dame Judi Dench feels that the actor’s appeal in his portrayal of James Bond lies in the fact that he looks “like he could kill a man”.

Dame Judi, who plays spymaster M in the film franchise, said Craig is quite “intense” and “fantastic at doing action”. In an interview to GQ magazine, she said: “I also think he feels like a Bond who could kill a man.” About the lighter side of the actor, Dame Judi said: “Somebody who doesn’t know him might think he was very serious, but gradually, you find he has this sense of humour, which is irresistible.”

Craig’s action in films, too, has left Dame Judi impressed. “Daniel is fantastic at doing action. When I see so many of the stunts he does, I say, ‘You can’t have done that!’ And he’ll say, ‘Yes, I did.’ He’s very impressive... so brave,” she added.
