Deadpool 2 writer debunks X-Force casting rumours

Screenwriter Rhett Reese has rubbished rumours suggesting that three key members of X- Force will appear in the Deadpool sequel.

Deadpool 2 has been scheduled for a June 2018 release.

Taking to Twitter, Reese confirmed that Shatterstar, Sunspot and Feral won’t be featured in Deadpool 2.

“Again, wrong,” Reese wrote quoting the news which said Deadpool 2 reportedly casting three X-Force characters.

In another post, he said, “There is virtually no negative consequence for posting Hollywood rumours that turn out to be false, so the internet is drenched with them.

“...With respect to Deadpool 2, false stories have outnumbered true stories by a large, large margin. Stay skeptical. Avoid the worst offenders.”
