“I had so many almosts for big, great things, but I was never a big enough name... It was always me and the big name. I was runner-up for Mad Max with Charlize,” Gadot said in Awards Chatter podcast.

When asked if she still wondered about missing opportunity of featuring in the multiple Oscar-winning film, the actor dismissed the idea saying there were no hard feelings. “Charlize, I love. We have Patty Jenkins in common,” she said.

The Wonder Woman director previously worked with Theron in the 2003 film Monster.
