Veteran actor Mel Gibson hopes to revive his dwindling career as his new film The Beaver releases in 2011. The film directed by Jodie Foster was put on hold when Gibson hit the headlines earlier this year amid reports of a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
The controversy even cost him a cameo in the upcoming The Hangover sequel. But executives at Summit Entertainment are now ready to launch Gibson’s comeback.
