The Warrior actor has bulked up and is sporting a clean shaven head for his role in the final installment of the hit Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises. The 34-year-old is playing Bane, a nemesis to Batman in this part. Hardy’s character is supposed to have a scary look, which is to be complemented by his bald head.
The 36-year-old actor has shaved her head for her role in new film, Mad Max 4: Fury Road. The haircut might have come as a surprise to fans of the Snow White And The Huntsman star, but she feels excited about it, and says “it’s been three years. It’s time to skin this cat already.” She will start shooting for the film this summer.
The Bourne-series protagonist went bald to play the tough guy in Neill Blomkamp’s science fiction movie, Elysium. The movie is set on another planet in the far future and will combine socio-political ideas and action, and is set to release in March next year.
Academy Award-winning Australian actor, Cate Blanchett, 43, will reportedly shave her head for her role in an upcoming movie by filmmaker Woody Allen. Reports indicate that the actor is excited about her new look. “Allen will shoot in San Francisco and his native New York...,” says the Herald Sun. The cast also includes actors Alec Baldwin, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard and comedian Andrew Dice Clay.
