India on Scarlett Johansson's radar?

Scarlett Johansson is trying to make some time for a quick trip to India in a few months from now. Sources say the 27-year-old actor will be here around April to promote her superhero flick, The Avengers. Dibyojyoti Baksi reports.

Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson is trying to make some time for a quick trip to India in a few months from now. Sources say the 27-year-old actor will be here around April to promote her superhero flick, The Avengers.

“She has asked us to get her visa in place, as she is expected to come here for four days around the release of the film in India,” says a source from the company that manages her travel plans. The source adds that co-star Robert Downey Jr may also accompany her on the promotional trip.

“Scarlett wants to stay in Mumbai around the last week of April and then she wants to make a short trip to Rajasthan. It is difficult to confirm her itinerary as of now, since she will also be shooting for two films around that time,” the source adds.

The film, which features a host of comic book heroes, releases in India on April 27. Johansson plays Black Widow, while Downey Jr plays Iron Man.
