John Travolta to star in The Toxic Avenger reboot
Hollywood star John Travolta is set to star in the remake of The Toxic Avenger. The 58-year-old Hairspray actor won't play the titular superhero but he is up for an undisclosed role in the Steve Pink-directed action comedy project.

Hollywood star John Travolta is set to star in the remake of The Toxic Avenger.
The 58-year-old Hairspray actor won't play the titular superhero but he is up for an undisclosed role in the Steve Pink-directed action comedy project, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Travolta will not play The Toxic Avenger himself but is part of the film. Pink just signed on to direct 2 other pics too," a source said.
Written by Pink and Daniel C Mitchell, The Toxic Avenger remake is based on 1984 comedy horror film.
The original film was set in Tromaville, New Jersey which was terrorized by criminals. Among the residents of Tromaville was Melvin, a nerdy emaciated janitor at the local health club.
