The illustrious Mumbai Police Twitter handle upped its wokeness on Sunday when it tweeted a road safety message paired with a picture of The Incredible Hulk. Urging people to wear helmets, the tweet made a reference to Hulk wearing protective gear in a scene from Thor: Ragnarok.

The Marvel character is known for being one of the most formidable and strongest superheroes in the Avengers roster. “No matter how strong you are, never forget to wear a helmet,” the tweet read.

The scene in question happens around midway through the latest Thor film, in which the God of Thunder finds himself on a trash heap of a planet and is forced to take part in a gladiatorial bout with none other than the Hulk, his ‘friend from work.’

After an inconclusive fight, the two then escape the arena and venture out into the further fringes of the universe. They return to Earth in Avengers: Infinity War, which takes place immediately after the events of Ragnarok. Hulk crash lands in New York after being pummelled by the villainous Thanos and Thor makes a memorable entry in the film’s third act—set in Wakanda—after going on an intergalactic adventure with members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and finding a replacement for his broken hammer.

The Mumbai Police is known to post quirky messages on Twitter, and has even warned a few Bollywood movie stars to set a better example to their legions of fans.

Hulk and Thor were a few of the characters to have survived the tragic events of Infinity War, which saw several of the newer Avengers reduced to dust at the end. They will return in the upcoming Avengers 4, which has been scheduled for a May 2019 release, and has been billed as a ‘significant conclusion’ to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it.
