Our green living tips

On Earth day today, we ask a few celebrities about those little things that they do to keep the earth green.

I avoid plastic bags. We must ensure that used paper bags go for recycling instead of going waste in some bin. We must all take individual responsibilities and help the cause.

I always turn the lights off at home when they aren’t being used and make sure that I don’t litter around. One has to be socially and environmentally conscious.

For lower energy usage, I use CFL bulbs. To go anywhere within Bandra I prefer cycling. Such small things can actually contribute to save our planet.

I inspire my kids to sketch on both side of the drawing sheets. I urge them not to waste water as then there’d be no fish in the seas for them to bring home and play.
