Robert Zemeckis to direct Brad Pitt-starring thriller

Brad Pitt and Robert Zemeckis will be soon working together in a romantic thriller. Zemeckis is at present busy with The Walk, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The epic love story by Paramount and New Regency is reportedly set during the World War II. Steven Knight has penned the script, said the Hollywood Reporter.

Zemeckis last directed 2012's Flight, starring Denzel Washington, which was a critical and commercial success for Paramount and went on to win two Oscar nominations.

Zemeckis is currently in post-production work on The Walk, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
