As per an India Today report, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducted a raid at the late Zubeen Garg's managers home, as part of its death probe. The raid was conducted earlier this week on Thursday, in lieu of which CID officers reached the complex in the morning and waited outside the three-storey building for almost two hours before carrying out the raid. A 3 BHK unit on the third floor of the building, flat 3A, was searched in the presence of a magistrate.

Though the flat, in which the manager's mother and siblings were residing as per other building residents, was found locked, it was broken into by the officials. These developments come as directions from the 10-member SIT headed by Special DGP MP Gupta, as part of the Assam governments efforts. As a matter of fact, the singer cremated with full state honours on Tuesday in Guwahatis Kamrup district.

This probe comes as a result of public demand and allegations of foul play. As per Zubeen's wife Garima Saikia Garg, the scuba diving claims were dismissed to reveal that the singer had actually suffered several seizures prior to his death.

As per an India Today report, "His doctors have confirmed that Zubeen had a seizure problem. In fact, he had suffered four to five seizures before this fatal one".

Zubeen was in Singapore in lieu of performing at the North East India Festival. The news of his death was shared by the organisers of the same, in an official statement, excerpts from which read, "With profound grief, we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved icon, Zubeen Garg, passed away today at Singapore General Hospital around 2:30 PM. Zubeen had arrived in Singapore just the day before yesterday. He was scheduled to be with us at the festival tomorrow, meeting and interacting with people...Earlier today, our entire team was engaged in a business meeting with senior Singaporean industrialists and policymakers at the Shangri-La Hotel to facilitate investments in Northeast India. During the meeting, we received a call from Zubeen's manager informing us that he had met with an accident and had been rushed to Singapore General Hospital. We later learned that a few members of the local Assamese community had taken him on a yacht visit, of which we had no prior knowledge".

Given the current developments, the widely circulated details of his passing get thrown into the flux.
