Seems like Norwegian striker Erling Haaland woke up today and decided to break the Internet. The popular footballer has cut short his stylish golden locks and gone for a sharp buzz cut. To say that netizens are having a field day, is an understatement.
Erling, 25, gained global popularity this year during FIFA 2026 World Cup, with his on field demeanor and off field warm persona.
Erling took to social media to share a transformation clip and pictures from a longer YouTube video. In the clip, he is seen sitting on a chair as camera zooms in on his face, he covers it with the next shot revealing his new hair style!

Fans are also disappointed at Erling was know for matching his hair tie to his team kit, making it his signature fashion move.

Called the ‘Norwegian goal machine’ Erling Haaland, made his World Cup debut this year. Even though Norway didn't make to the finals, Erling quickly gained fandom. He inherits his football IQ from his dad (former Man City player Alf-Inge) and his speed from his mom (90s heptathlon champion Gry Marita Braut).
Haaland lives a low-key life with his childhood sweetheart, Isabel Haugseng Johansen. The couple quietly welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in December 2024.
