At BJP meeting, PM Modi asks MPs to join events to mark 2023 as year of millets

The Prime Minister has been focusing on popularising use of the grains, underlining its health benefits and how beneficial it will be for farmers as well.

According to a party functionary, all MPs have been asked to make a millet calendar for the next year to popularise its use.

The PM also urged the lawmakers to ensure sporting events in their respective constituencies. He particularly spoke about the need to promote Kabbadi.

External affairs minister S Jaishankar made a presentation on the G20 summit.

Earlier too, the PM had instructed the party colleagues to ensure that the summit is used as a platform to promote Indian culture and diversity.
