BJP releases third list, all 101 party candidates for Bihar polls now announced

Earlier today, the BJP had released its second list consisting of 12 candidates, which included singer Maithili Thakur.

Hours after releasing the second list, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced its third list of party candidates.

With this, the party has now announced candidates for all of the 101 seats it is contesting in the Bihar Assembly elections.

In the third list of BJP candidates, the party has fielded Nand Kishor Ram from Ramnagar, Krishnanandan Paswan from Harsidhi, Murari Paswan from Pirpainti and Sangeeta Kumari from Mohania, all of these being SC-reserved seats.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Pandey will contest from Narkatiaganj, Satish Kumar Yadav from Raghopur, Bharat Bind from Bhabua, and Ashok Kumar Singh will from Ramgarh.

Earlier today, the BJP had released its second list consisting of 12 candidates, which included singer Maithili Thakur and former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from Assam Anand Mishra. Thakur had joined the party on Monday.

While Thakur has been fielded from Alinagar, Mishra will be contestin from Buxar.

The party had released its first list of 71 candidates on Tuesday. This included deputy CMs Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha from Tarapur and Lakhisarai.

The Bihar Assembly elections will be conducted in two phases on November 6 and November 11. The counting of votes will take place on November 14.

In the NDA, the BJP and JD(U) are contesting on 101 seats each, while Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is contesting on 29 seats.
