We are going to form the govt with huge majority...The people have given their verdict that will be declared just after a few hours..."

Delhi election results LIVE: Congress candidate from Kalkaji assembly seat, Alka Lamba, suggested that people of Delhi have neither liked BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri nor has AAP's Atishi done any work after being the chief minister.

"I don't think the people of Kalka Ji have liked Ramesh Bidhuri, there was anger amongst the people due to his language... I believe that Arvind Kejriwal is going to lose his seat. Atishi also has to face immense anti-incumbency as she didn't work even after being the CM...," Congress Kalkaji candidate Alka Lamba said.

Delhi assembly elections result LIVE: Delhi chief minister and AAP candidate from Kalkaji, Atishi, said party supremo Arvind Kejriwal will become the CM again.

"This was not an ordinary election but a fight between good and evil. I am confident that the people of Delhi will stand with the good, AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. He will become the CM for the fourth time...," Atishi said, speaking to mediapersons on Saturday, ahead of the counting of votes.

Delhi assembly elections result LIVE: The Delhi assembly election saw a voting percentage of 60.54 per cent, with 94,51,997 people casting their votes on Wednesday, February 5, according to data provided by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Around 50.42 lakh of the total Delhi voters were men while 44.08 lakh were women. Also, 403 third-gender voters participated in the polling process.

In the 2020 Delhi assembly election, a voter turnout of 62.59 per cent was recorded while only 56 per cent of the voters in the capital participated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Delhi assembly elections result 2025 | Key points on counting of votes

-Counting of votes time: The counting of votes for Delhi assembly election 2025 will begin at 8 am today, February 8.

-Postal ballots to be counted first: The counting process will start with postal ballots, which include votes from government officials on election duty, service voters, and elderly or differently-abled voters who chose postal voting.

-Delhi voting date: Voting for Delhi assembly poll 2025 took place in a single phase on February 5.

-Delhi voting percentage: According to the Election Commission of India (EC) data, the approximate voter turnout after the Delhi assembly election stood at 60.54 per cent.

-Districts with highest and lowest voter turnout: with the North East district recording the highest voting percentage - 66.25 per cent. Lowest polling was recorded in the South East Delhi district at 56.40 per cent.

-Delhi exit poll results: Delhi election 2025 exit poll results were released on Wednesday evening, after the voting for the assembly poll concluded. Most exit polls projected a comfortable win for BJP in the Delhi assembly election, while the incumbent AAP is predicted to be failing to hit a hattrick. Exit polls projected another rout for Congress.
