Karunanidhi health updates: His condition is stable, says Stalin
DMK president M Karunanidhi faced a ‘transient setback’ in his clinical condition and his vital signs are normalising with medical support, Chennai’s Kauvery hospital said on Sunday.Huge security has been deployed outside the hospital to control the overflowing crowd and senior party leader A Raja appealed to people to not believe in rumours.Karunanidhi was shifted to the hospital two days ago prior to which he was undergoing treatment for fever due to urinary tract infection at his Gopalapuram residence.Here are the updates:

DMK chief still under intensive care
“DMK chief’s health condition is stable. He is well. A medical team is attending on him. Me and deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam along with DMK party working president M K Stalin and Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi visited him in person,” said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami after visiting Karunanidhi earlier in the day.

DMK spokesperson TKS Elangovan has told IANS that the 94-year-old leader has been moving his hands and legs and also opened his eyes.

DMK leader and former Union Minister A Raja told reporters at hospital premises on Sunday to not believe in rumours.
“He continues to be treated at the ICU,” he had announced which was greeted with loud cheers by the crowd who had gathered in large numbers outside the hospital.

Karunanidhi’s supporters outside the Kauvery Hospital urge the hospital staff to update them about the leader’s health condition.
“For the past three days, we have been waiting here without food and water. We don’t want anything, give us our Thalaiva back. Why has nothing been said on him yet? We want him back,” a supporter of Karunanidhi tells ANI.
