Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on a two-day visit on Tuesday as part of a three-state tour to hard-sell his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as a firm alternative to ‘corrupt’ Congress and the BJP in the 2017 assembly polls.

He spoke on a number of issues, including corruption, support to the fishermen community and his confidence in his party’s ability to repeat the electoral performance in Delhi. However, what captured the Twitterati’s attention was something else -- his floral headgear that he sported as a mark of respect to local fishermen who presented it to him.
