A female teacher of Rangani Sahi primary school in Tulsipur village under Banki block in Cuttack district allegedly forced a girl of Class IV to take off her clothes over suspicion that the student had stolen a sketch pen on Thursday.

The girl told about the incident to her mother who took up the matter with the school headmistress and also lodged a complaint with the Banki police under sections 341, 323 and 294 of the IPC.

The brother of the girl, who studied in the same class, was a witness to the incident.

Block Education officer Himanshu Bhusan Samrath said action would be taken against the teacher after investigation.
