On Guru Mahotsav, women in Jharkhand wash feet of CM Raghubar Das

The chief minister was attending an event at the Brahma Lok Dham in Jamshedpur city when women washed his feet on a plate full of flower petals.

At an event held on Guru Mahotsav at the Brahma Lok Dham, women washed the feet of Das on a plate full of flower petals. Das was the chief guest at the event.

Guru Purnima is marked on the full-moon day of the Hindu month Ashadha and is celebrated by the Hindus, Jains and the Buddhists to honour one’s gurus or teachers who guide us through our lives towards the path of enlightenment. The day falls in between June and July.
