I voted for people who will take the state forward in a progressive manner. I appeal to all citizens of Telangana to come out and exercise your franchise."

They are big people but I am not going to back off fearing them. A candidate is a candidate in my eyes... KCR was nothing 40 years ago, he became a CM over the journey of years... They became big leaders because their time was right. They should not be considered as geniuses. I am 101% sure I will win..."

We formed strategies over issues, after Bharat Jodo Yatra...It is a technical process. 30th November is polling date, 3rd December is the result date and 9th December is the swearing-in ceremony. People have already decided to form a Congress government here. 'Achhe din' are going to come to Telangana, 'Durala Sarkar' will leave and 'Prajala Sarkar' will come. There are 85 MLAs, everyone is capable for CM post. There is a process.”

In Hyderabad, BRS MLC K Kavitha says, "Especially to the young men and women, I sincerely appeal to you to please come and vote. Today is not a holiday, it is a day to participate and strengthen democracy...The decibels have been high but it was the same scenario in 2018 and people supported BRS and this time also I believe people will support us...Love of people is with KCR, love of people is with BRS. People are going to vote for 'car' and we are going to win."

“I urge urban votes to come out and vote. Voting is a crucial aspect of nation building process,” she added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to vote saying, “I call upon my sisters and brothers of Telangana to vote in record numbers and strengthen the festival of democracy. I particularly urge young and first-time voters to exercise their franchise.”

Voting begins in Telangana elections for 119 seats. Over 2,290 candidates from 109 regional and national parties are in the fray. However, the major fight seems for be between Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
