Youth dies while taking selfie at waterfall near Bengaluru

Naveen Kumar and his friends climbed up the rocks midway to the Channagiri waterfall on the outskirts of Bengaluru. While taking selfie he slipped from there and died instantaneously.

A youth died after he fell from a hillock while clicking a selfie at Channagiri waterfall on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Tuesday.

Police said Naveen Kumar had gone to Channagiri with his friends. They chose the waterfall, which was flowing in full force due to heavy downpour in the region for the past two months.

Kumar and his friends climbed up the rocks midway to the waterfall. While taking selfie he slipped from there and died instantaneously, the police said.
