304 - The biggest margin of victory for India in Tests away from home in terms of runs. This was Sri Lanka’s biggest loss in Tests. The previous highest victory margin in terms of runs was 279 against England in Leeds in 1986. This is also the fourth-biggest win for India in Tests.
10 - Virat Kohli notched up his 10th century as skipper during his 103* in the second innings. Among Indian skippers, only Sunil Gavaskar is ahead of Kohli with 11 tons.
7 - Number of Test wins for India in Sri Lanka. This is the joint-most for India away from home. India have also won seven Tests in West Indies. However, barring Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, they have a positive win-loss ratio only in Sri Lanka.
190 - Shikhar Dhawan achieved his highest individual score in Tests. It is the highest by an Indian left-hander in Tests against Sri Lanka, beating Sourav Ganguly’s mark of 147 set in August 1997. This was the third-highest score by an Indian batsman in Sri Lanka.
153 - Cheteshwar Pujara’s score in this Test, which is his highest individual score against Sri Lanka. Out of his 12 Test tons, he has three double centuries and three 150-plus scores.
