100 kgs drugs seized in Delhi, 4 arrested

Police are making raids in the capital and reports reveal that 180 foreigners have been caught peddling drugs.

In one of the biggest narcotics hauls in the capital, Delhi police on Sunday recovered 100 kg of narcotics worth Rs one bn ($21.5 mn) and arrested four people, including a non-resident Indian from Canada.

Police said the men were arrested near the Indira Gandhi International Airport after a raid. Officials said that three of the men belonged to Punjab.

In the past 19 months, over 180 foreign nationals have been arrested in the capital on charges of possession and peddling in narcotics.
