The Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, has fixed daily limit of only 15,000 yatra, from both Baltal and Phalgam routes.According to Anantnag police 8000 unregistered Yatries and , those with later date registration were returned back from Pahalgam. Another 4,000 were send from Manigam.
Police have requested the pilgrims to register themselves as per the guideline of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board and visit on the specified date of registration schedule, besides, they are also requested to adhere to the specified Yatra routes only, wherein “P” stands for Pahalgam route vehicles and “B” stands for Baltal route vehicles.
