Twelve inmates of Nimbehera sub-jail in Chittorgarh district have fled after cutting jail rods in the wee hours of Monday, a police official said.

All check posts have been alerted and combing operation has begun, Naru Lal, SHO, Nimbehara told PTI on phone.

The inmates escaped from the three room sub-jail in which about 15 prisoners were lodged, Lal said.
