The services of 600 more striking resident doctors of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation hospitals, who are post-graduates, will be terminated by Saturday evening, Additional Municipal Commissioner V Patankar said.

The process to evict these doctors from the hostels would begin on Saturday afternoon and the Maharashtra Health University would also be asked to withdraw their post-graduation degrees, he said.

The resident doctors, who went on an indefinite strike on February 27, are demanding adequate security following attacks by relatives of patients, besides an increase in stipend.
