16-year-old boy dies in hospital, case of negligence registered

On Tuesday, Arjun, 16, a student of Class 9 and S/o Pawan Kumar was admitted in ESI hospital in NH 3 area in New Industrial Township after he complained of some problem in stomach.The family members alleged that the patient's condition had deteriorated soon after he was admitted.
The police on Wednesday finally succumbed to the family's demand and registered a case. The body of the deceased resident of AC Nagar is being sent to PGI Rohtak for postmortem."We have registered case of negligence against PMO, CMO, doctor and nurse of the hospital", SHO, SGM Nagar, Narinder Kumar said, adding that the investigation into the death has begun.
"I am reaching Faridabad tomorrow and will ask the medical superintendent to investigate the cause of the boy's death", said Mukesh Kasanwal, CMO, ESI hospital.
