The 18 cases were reported from Bangalore, they said.

Throat culture samples of 6,720 suspect cases have been analysed so far, the officials said.

Till date, 5,93,671 passengers have been screened for the pandemic at Bangalore and Mangalore airports in the state, where the process of screening started seven months ago.
