Raids were carried out in multiple hotels and lodges across the city as part of security measures following serial blasts in Ahmedabad and Bangalore, the official said.

"The three youths were detained from a lodge in south Mumbai and they said that they had come to the city to get jobs," Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria told PTI.

"The antecedents of the youths are being verified and there is no evidence to suggest presently that they are connected with the Ahmedabad or Bangalore blasts conspiracy," he said.
