Three children were washed away in flash floods in two separate incidents in Durg district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday, officials said.

Two children aged eight years, who were playing close to a rivulet in Deepaknagar, were washed away by strong currents after the level of water rose suddenly, officials told.
The bodies of both children were found later, they said.
In a separate incident at Durg district headquarters, an 18-month-old infant was washed away in a similar way, officials said. The body is yet to be recovered.
Durg district has been experiencing heavy rains since Saturday.
