Security forces recovered 30 kg of RDX and four hand grenades from a militant hideout in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

Acting on a tip off, police assisted by troops of 29 Rashtriya Rifles and 45th battalion of CRPF raided Gotipora- check Seeri village in Pattan, 27 km from Srinagar on Srinagar-Baramulla national highway, a police spokesman said.

The search party unearthed a hideout in the house of one Mohammad Ramzan Pandit which led to the recovery of 30 kg of RDX, four Chinese grenades, 150 AK rounds, three batteries with circuits and four kilogram grease, the spokesman said.
