4 Andhra techies die in US mishap

Four students, including three girls, from Andhra Pradesh were killed when their Honda car was hit by the vehicle of an off-duty police officer near the St. Louis Country town of Des Peres, USA, on Saturday.

The three female victims were identified as Anusha Anumolu (23), Anita Lakshmi (23) and Priya Muppvarapu (22). They were pursuing MS degrees in Information Technology at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. They had transferred to the university last fall from Oklahoma City University.

Another victim, Satya Chinta (25), who was Anita Lakshmi’s cousin, was from Aurora. Three of the victims hailed from Vijayawada, while one was from Visakhapatnam.
