Four persons were killed and 20 injured when the compound wall of a masjid collapsed on Thursday at Thurkalike, about 60 km from Mangalore.
According to police, a large number of people were sitting on the compound wall, which was very old, to hear a religious discourse when the mishap occurred.
Those sitting on the wall were trapped under the debris.
