5,000 marriages in C Gujarat in 2 days

The wedding processions created problems for smooth flow of traffic in many cities and towns in Gujarat.

Vadodara district and city and other parts of central Gujarat comprising Panchmahal, Dohad, Anand and Kheda districts witnessed about 5,000 marriages in the last two days coinciding with Vasant Panchmi on Monday.

Bharuch, Godhra, Dohad and other places too witnessed a number of weddings, with 1500 being conducted in Vadodara alone.
