5 hurt in Gujarat furnace factory explosion
Five persons sustained burn injuries after an explosion in the furnace of Steel Cast factory in outskirts of Bhavnagar today, police said.

Five persons sustained burn injuries after an explosion in the furnace of Steel Cast factory in outskirts of Bhavnagar today, police said.
The incident took place in a factory of Steel Cast company on Rurapari road when the men were working near the furnace used for melting steel, they said. Due to some malfunction in the factory there was an explosion in the furnace, following which five men working near it got injured due to the flames, police said.
All the injured have been taken to nearby government hospital for treatment, they said. Police said that a inquiry was on to investigate the exact cause of the explosion in the furnace.
