YOUTHS OF the city will get an opportunity to try their luck during the two-day “Big Break Job Fair” to be held at the PPN Degree College.

College principal, Dr Ashok Saxena said the aim was to provide jobs to at least 500 students and the number could further increase depending on the requirement of the participating companies.
The fair that begins on November 25 would be open to all and students of Intermediate and above classes could appear for campus interviews.
Saxena said companies would offer full-time and part-time jobs to students, who possessed requisite qualifications and selected candidates would be given appointment letters on the spot.
Efforts have also been made to provide students jobs within the district, he added.
“Over half a dozen prestigious companies including IBM, DELL, Excel, Reliance Global, IEAL and FS Hutch, SK Technology, Arora Global are expected to hold campus interviews during the fair,” Saxena said. After interviewing all the five hundred students, experts would offer them jobs according to their qualifications.
Besides, the companies had special job offers for girl candidates, he added.
Saxena said students would also be informed about the ways to appear in an interview and about personality development during the fair.
Saxena said it would be a unique experience for young boys and girls and even if they were not selected, they would learn a lot.
The college has been organising job fairs for the past several years and more than forty per cent of its students got jobs before completing their courses.
Students of Commerce, Chemistry and Accounts subjects were the most sought after at these job fairs.
