8 BMC employees suspended

The municipal commissioner took stock of the presence of employees at ward 34 under zone 5 of the BMC and found eight sanitation workers including Kala Bai, Rajcharan, Bitto Bai, Sumita Bai, Maya Bai, Asha Bai, Chamanlal and Vinod to be absent without prior intimation.

Singh directed immediate suspension of these employees for negligence of work. Their headquarters would be the Ambedkar library building during the period of suspension.
