Shilpa Shukla, Bindya of Chak De! India, is back on screen in a film called Bhindi Bazar.

Shilpa Shukla, Bindya of Chak De! India, is back on screen in a film called Bhindi Bazar. “It is an intense gangster film that has me picking pockets,” Shukla laughs. “The biggest high was working with Deepti Naval. We were supposed to do a film a couple of years ago, but it didn’t take off.”

What next? Zilch. Theatre, film or TV, nothing exciting is happening in any of these mediums, so Shukla now plans to turn scriptwriter. She also took tons of pics while shooting in the crowded Bhendi Bazar so may be we’ll get to see Shukla the photographer too. Que sera sera.
