Implementation and execution of various government-related orders seems to be the basic problem of Municipal Ward 30 that includes Malibu Towne, Mayfield Garden, Sushant Lok 2 and 3.
Despite civic authorities and town and country planning department passing orders for works to be done, implementation remains lax.
“The electricity department had to set up a 66KVA substation which is yet to be installed. Also, water supply and sewage connectivity are major issues in the area,” said Raman Sharma, a resident of Malibu Towne.
“Implementation is a major issue in the system. Many officials issued orders to developers and other contractors but nothing has been done,” Sharma added.
Similarly, Mayfield Garden RWA president Cdr (retd) Dharam Vir Yadav wrote to the authorities many times, but no action was taken.
Many HUDA officials and developers have done surveys of the township but no developmental work followed.
Major issues of Mayfield are lack of civic amenities such as roads, water and sewage connection, electrical transmission or distribution system and community and public utility services.
Sushant Lok 2 and 3 also face similar problems in addition to the menace of stray cattle and dogs. “Water is a major issue for us. Besides this, the link to the main road is in bad shape. The total basic infrastructure too is in terrible state and crumbling,” YN Gupta, president RWA, Sushant Lok 2 and 3 said.
