AIR INDIA beat Haryana Colts by 25 runs in the first semifinal of the Goswami Ganesh Dutt tournament at the St. Stephen's ground.

It was the fourth wicket partnership of 138 between Shafiq Khan (76 off 74 balls) and Deepak Joon (61 off 69 balls) that helped Air India manage 226 for 8 in 40 overs. Joon then picked up two wickets to land the Man-of-the-Match award.

In another match, West Delhi 93 in 18 overs (A. Jain 36; N. Aggrawal 3-16, A. Thakur 2-20) lost to L.B. Shastri 97 for 3 in 19 overs (T. Jain 42*) by 7 wkts.
