Air Marshal opens hospital annexe

AIR MARSHAL JS Gujaral PVSM VM, VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Central Air Command inaugurated the newly constructed annexe with a capacity of 50 beds at the Air Force Hospital of the Indian Air Force base in Gorakhpur. With this, total number of beds at the hospital increased from 60 to 110. He also visited various units and interacted with officers and personnel of the station.

Earlier, Gujaral, accompanied by president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) Indu Gujaral, arrived on a two-day visit to the Air Force station on Thursday. Air Commodore KG Kumar and Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Gorakhpur Renu Kumar received them. Indu Gujaral interacted with women of the station and discussed their well-being.

She also visited various ventures run at this station for welfare of the air warriors and their families and inaugurated the newly constructed E-learning room at Air Force School.
