Aligarh clash: Red alert sounded across UP

A Red alert has been sounded across Uttar Pradesh and security has been tightened at all sensitive places of the state in wake of the communal violence in Aligarh which left four persons dead, home department sources said.
A strict vigil is being being maintained on rumour-mongers and anti-social elements, the sources added.
Meanwhile, the government has announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to those injured in the clashes.
