Allahabad Junction fails to keep up with time-table!

With this apathetic attitude of the railway officials, the harried passengers have to run from pillar to post in order to get the correct information.

Sources close to NCR said, the timings of as many as 47 trains passing through Allahabad have been changed with effect from July 1, 2006 but, the same old time table is affixed at places including the computerised reservation hall and general ticket booking windows on both the city side as well as the Civil Lines side of the station.

"It really becomes difficult to know the right time of the train, as the time-table placed at the station is displaying the old timings of the trains", said Raghav a train passenger at Junction station.

Another train passenger, Shiv Ram said that officials concerned should make efforts in updating the time-table so that passenger did not face problems.

The problem is compounded by the fact that staff deployed at railway inquiry seems to be disinterested in attending to queries of the passengers.

"The inquiry system should be strengthen as we have to face inconvenience due to lack of proper railway inquiry system", said yet another passenger, Jitendra.
